Every individual deserves respect for his or her rights. This is true no matter where one lives. We work to protect human rights by bringing cases on behalf of individuals, by advising governments, and by participating in global forums to protect individuals and peoples whose rights have been violated.

We assist individuals, peoples, and governments in defending their rights in global forums. In most case domestic remedies must have been exhausted for us to help bring a case to an international court or tribunal. The courts and tribunals we work before apply international agreements between states (treaties) and customary international law that protects fundamental human rights.
